As first reported on our Whatsapp Status on Friday, two women suspected of burglarizing multiple vehicles around Lakewood have been apprehended – withe the assistance of LCSW.
The two women, who were spotted on surveillance video at least twice burglarizing vehicles, apparently were under the impression Lakewood Police were not monitoring the Town on Friday due to the funeral, but didn’t realize they brought in Toms River Police to help patrol.
After locating their vehicle, LCSW monitored these women for a while, and sure enough they struck again – in broad daylight.
But this time they were caught.
LCSW members reached out to police and within minutes, Toms River police officers had the two women in custody.
Lakewood’s Detective Bureau is working to track down and document all victims.
