BREAKING: Judge Tosses Trump Lawsuit Challenging Governor Murphy’s Vote-By-Mail Order

A lawsuit filed by the Trump administration, and joined by the Republican National Committee and the New Jersey Republican State Committee, challenging Governor Murphy’s executive order to hold the election mostly by mail, has been tossed out by a federal judge.

The Trump administration argued that the executive order to conduct the election almost exclusively by mail would invited fraud to the election.

But federal Judge Michael A. Shipp apparently disagreed, and dismissed the case without oral arguments being presented.

    • Your racism, unfortunately, was not a shock.

The desperate attempts by Republicans to prevent people from voting show us how dedicated they truly are to democracy. As far as Republicans are concerned, the less voters the better, they do not want to be beholden to the public, only the few corporate sponsors. Fake voter fraud claims, onerous ID laws designed to ensure that the poor don’t vote, and a refusal to drag the voting system from the 19th century into the 21st.

  1. The way things have been going during this election cycle, I wouldn’t be surprised if this year sets a record for a new high in voter turnout!

  2. The lack of fraud protection on the mail in ballot is stunning. You can be sure, many thousands of votes will be sent in “on behalf” of people who cannot fend for themselves!
