BREAKING VIDEO: Lakewood home destroyed in early-morning blaze

A Lakewood home was destroyed in an early-morning fire today.

The fire broke out at the Raintree neighborhood home approximately 5:00 a.m., prompting a large response.

The fire was brought under control with no reported injuries.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Ocean County Fire Marshal’s Office.

Lately, I hear more fire-engine sirens in Lakewood than I heard in Brooklyn. You can tell the difference. They use a different siren than police or ambulances. I hear a lot of those too.
