Governor Murphy Tells New Jersey Residents To Avoid Unnecessary Interstate Travel

Governor Murphy today urged New Jersey residents to avoid any unnecessary interstate travel. Murphy said that given recent increases in coronavirus cases in New Jersey and neighboring states, residents should stay away from traveling.

“Crossing state lines for work, groceries, or worship is one thing – but otherwise, stay in New Jersey,” Murphy said.

Governor Murphy is currently self-quarantining after being exposed to a senior aide on Saturday who later tested positive for coronavirus.
