Open Enrollment for private health insurance for 2021 will be from November 1, 2020, until January 31, 2021. You must enroll in a plan by December 31 to begin coverage on January 1. If you miss Open Enrollment, you will most likely not be able to get a private health insurance plan at any point during 2021 – even from an insurance broker.

To sign up for an appointment to get free help from the LRRC with applying for a subsidized private health insurance plan through the new State-Based Exchange called Get Covered NJ, visit www.oe2021.lrrcenter.org, follow the instructions there, and an LRRC representative will contact you to schedule an appointment.
