A fire at an Industrial Park building prompted a large response from Lakewood’s Fire Department this morning.

The fire broke out around 8:00 AM on Rutgers University Boulevard.

A building manager tells TLS the fire started in one of their machines, but was quickly extinguished, which he credits to the swift response of the Fire Department.

No injuries were reported, and damage within the building was minor.
