EXCLUSIVE: Lakewood Stabbing Victim Describes Attack

The victim in the Lakewood stabbing attack spoke exclusively to TheLakewoodScoop.com this afternoon, after being released from the hospital.

“I feel a poke – I thought it was someone poking me, making shtick,” the victim told TLS. Then I see someone in front of me…so I put my hand in my back and find a knife there.”

The victim could be seen pulling the knife from his back.

“I screamed I’M GONNA KILL YOU, I’M GONNA KILL YOU,” he said.

While wielding the knife at the suspect, he screamed to call the cops – which a secretary did.

Moments later, the suspect took off running, with the victim giving chase.

“I told her to get on the ground, I have a gun,” the victim said, but she kept running until he managed to tackle her at the edge of the parking lot.

After tackling her, he says he put her knee on her back and hand around her neck. Police arrived within minutes and took her into custody.

He was transported to the hospital and released with minor injuries.

The victim says he will be Benching Gomel.

  1. I can’t understand why she is not being charged with attempted murder. Thankfully, he was wearing a coat which probably minimized somewhat the extent of how hurt he was. But had he not been wearing the coat, I shudder to think what condition he’d be in right now.
