  1. Sad situation. Although I’m far from paranoid and have been trying to keep a normal life, I can’t fathom why so many people wouldn’t take this seriously enough to vax if given the opportunity.

  2. I believe the poll should have more options to clarify if the respondent already had COVID, or the poll should be limited to those who have not had the disease. Many people already got COVID, so they consider it unnecessary to get the vaccine. Those who didn’t catch the disease may be more receptive to a vaccine.

    Posting a poll that produces results that imply that most Lakewood residents don’t have faith in the vaccine can have consequences. It is therefore imperative that the poll contain the options the reflect properly on the town’s true feelings.

  4. This poll leaves out whether the respondent has antibodies. If a person has antibodies, taking the vaccine would be a waste and just merely mean that someone who needs may not get it.
    So how many of those that said no have antibodies?

  6. I don’t take the flu shot and I’m not taking the Covid shot.It hasn’t been around long enough to know what side effects it may have and if there are any long term ones down the road. I don’t trust it.

    • i did have covid and voted no however i don’t think i would be taking it even if i didn’t have covid. it definitely will be causing atuoimmune issues in some people and when side effects come up, they have a very hard time taking responsiblity and acknowledging that the vaccine caused it.
      there can also be fertility reprecussions for some people too.
      until we see some long term data, i would not go near this with a 10 ft poll.
