Apple: Keep iPhones Away From Medical Devices

If you own an Apple product, such as an iPhone, you should keep it at away from medical devices, the company said in a safety warning. 

In a notice published on Apple’s support page, the trillion-dollar company warns that its smartphones could potentially interfere with medical devices, including pacemakers. Apple said that iPhones contain magnets and radios that emit electromagnetic fields, both of which could cause issued for medical devices, including pacemakers and defibrillators, by interfering with sensors in the medical devices.

The notice makes specific mention of the magnets in iPhone 12’s, as well as MagSafe accessories, noting that iPhone 12’s contain more magnets than previous models.

Apple said that to ensure safety, users should keep iPhones and MagSafe chargers at least six inches from medical devices, and 15 inches apart when using wireless charging.

  1. So soon all medical buildings will say anyone with an iPhone is forbidden to enter for the sake of the safety of our patients. So apple can take control of the world like the crazy democrats are trying.
