Reb Shmuel Baruch Green Z”L

We regret to inform you of the petirah of R’ Shmuel Baruch Green, a Lakewood resident who was niftar at the age of 90. 

R’ Shmuel Baruch lived in A Country Place for the last 9 years, and would frequent the Lutzk and Satmar shuls. He had a smile and friendly word for all who met him, and would walk himself to shul each shabbos despite his advanced age.

His children are R’ Shloime Green of Lakewood, Mrs. Sarah Wax of Lakewood, and R’ Ari Green of Boro Park.

The levaya will take place Sunday at 12 PM at the 7th Street chapel.

Shiva will be held at 23B Carnation Drive in Lakewood.

  2. Reb Green, well to me, he was a Rebbe just by seeing him. This elderly yid constantly had a smile on his face and radiated simcha to everyone. Always had a kind and warm greeting, was sharp as a tack and completely humble. Just seeing him was a chizuk. BDE.
