Agudah: Reports from Eretz Yisroel are that HaRav Yitzchak Scheiner shlita, Rosh HaYeshiva of Kaminetz Yeshiva in Yerushalayim, one of the ziknei roshei hayeshiva in the world today, is unwell with COVID-19. Gedolei Yisroel in Eretz Yisroel, including HaRav Chaim Kanievsky shlita and HaRav Gershon Edelstein shlita, have called upon Klal Yisroel to increase their tefillos for HaRav Scheiner, Yitzchok Aryeh ben Perel b’soch shaar cholei Yisroel.
HaRav Scheiner, who grew up in America, has had a very close relationship with the American Agudah – many of you might remember his address at the 12th Siyum HaShas 8 ½ years ago, or the times he’s spoken at the Agudah Conventions and Yerushalayim Yarchei Kallahs over the years. We respectfully ask you all to join in davening for the Rosh HaYeshiva’s complete and speedy refuah.
