With Yeshivas cancelling their door-to-door collecting and many Purim parties cancelled due to Covid, less traffic is expected this year in Lakewood.
Many of the hundreds of groups which usually make their way around town, will be having Sedarim in their respective Yeshivas instead. Collecting for the most part this year is being done online.
Additionally, many families are staying home for the Purim meals, instead of joining larger events.
However, the Mishloach Manos morning traffic is still expected to cause significant delays around town.
Police say there will also be less street direction changes this year due to the expected lower-than-usual volume, as well as less off-duty hires.

1)Fact its Friday will make all the misloach monos traffic alot worse as it will all be pushed into just a few hours.
2)THURSDAY TANNIS ESTHER (which seemingly became purim to in lakewood lately) WILL BE GRIDLOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THURSDAY WILL BE FAR WORSE THEN FRIDAY!
