No Shiva! No Kaddish! Today Lakewood lost a true pure Yiddish Neshama, Gail Wasserman A”H, Gittel Rochel bas Shmuel. She was 69 and was buried today in Lakewood with 10 men from a family that helped her for decades.
She accepted suffering, physical and emotional difficulties without complaints or questions. She had Emuna P’shuta even though she became religious late in life. She did Chesed spontaneously without fanfare, and leaves behind no children, no Shiva and no one to mourn for her.
As we all prepare for Purim, I ask all to take a moment and do a Chesed Shel Emes by dedicating learning Mishnayos in her memory.
In this Zechus, may Hashem bring the Geula Shelaima.
