Authorities investigating after Frum child goes missing in Toms River, returns home confused

A neighborhood in Toms River, as well as authorities, are investigating after a child went missing and returned home confused, sources confirmed to TLS.

According to the sources, the incident unfolded on Friday afternoon, when the eight-year-old went out for a bike ride.

But after a while, parents began worrying when they could not locate the boy.

The parents and neighbors reportedly began searching the area, including a forest nearby, but turned up empty-handed.

About an hour later, the boy returned home confused, frightening parents and neighbors. According to sources, the child was unsure what happened, or not giving clear answers.

Multiple police units responded to the home for an investigation.

TRPD has not yet responded to a request for comment.

Though the facts surrounding this incident have not yet come out, Askonim we spoke to are urging parents to remain vigilant about the dangers lurking on the streets, especially during the summer months.

  1. Get with the program guys…this happens every day in some way or another.

The only solution is to find the guy who did it and beat the (moderated) out of him.

  2. You have to watch your children very carefully and not rely on the older children this is a very serious matter and I hope the child is ok

  3. I feel bad for this kid Baruch HaShem my parents were always vigilant and thought us to be vigilant
One time a guy came up to me on Kings Highway brooklyn at night and asked me if he can do something with me somewhere and I said no and was petrified I was in 9th grade when this happened

  4. Hopefully he will remember over time. Sometimes it can show up in dreams or something will trigger a buried memory. Get him a therapy session. Sad kids can’t even do simple things without getting hurt. Prayers to the family.
