  1. Yes the car should have stopped. He is foolish for going through without checking. But truthfully while the minivan is not at fault, he is foolish for not looking out for that possibility. When i drive i always watch the cars at the intersections to make sure they dont do something like that. It is something many ppl dont seem to do. It is called DEFENSIVE DRIVING!

  2. Removal of stop signs & traffic lights will greatly improve driving conditions.
This adjustment should be tested on any given roadway.
    Bore’ Olam will help.

  3. this is 7th and clifton. You can blame this on the way the engineers (who dont live here) decided to paint the lines. They thought it would be a great idea to paint left turning lanes, so they shifted the primary lane all the way to the right of the road, making it very dangerous for cars trying to turn in from any of the side streets. There is simply no room to inch up into Clifton,, and you can’t see the oncoming traffic when there are cars parked alongside Clifton. I voiced my concern last year when the repaved, but they wouldnt listen, they were so proud of their innovative left turning lanes. Lets hope they wont do this on Forest . Its safest for everyone when cars are driving towards the middle of the road, not shifted all the way to the side.

    • I live in the area and you are absolutely correct. This has been a big problem ever since they replaced Clifton last year. The 4way stop sign at 10th was a good move, but everything else has caused it to be so dangerous when turning onto Clifton. Hopefully the township will look into this.
