A Hatzolah of Central Jersey ambulance this morning broke down while transporting a patient to the hospital.

The ambulance broke down on the Garden State Parkway due to a mechanical failure, sources said.

A new ambulance was brought to the scene and transported the non-critical patient to the hospital.

Due to the wear and tear of the ambulances, Hatzolah – which now services Jackson, Toms River and beyond, keeps on adding new top-of-the-line vehicles to its fleet – thanks to generous donors.
