With the inspiration by Ira Zlotowitz at the very beginning of Covid, the Lakewood Daf Yomi Shiur by Sruly Bornstein quickly pivoted to Zoom to ensure the Shiur members were able to hold onto the daily life-blood of Torah.
Aside for the thousands of listeners around the world via the award-winning iOS & Google Play Lakewood Daf Yomi apps, TorahAnytime, AllDaf, 107.9 and the various other audio channels, the live Chaburah has evolved from an in-person shiur in Lakewood to close to 200 participants daily from around the world.
The Shiur is typically 1-2 days ahead of the of the cycle, but varying times. All members are encouraged to stay updated via WhatsApp or Email.
The Shiur typically starts with the official ‘pre-game’ and ends with a ‘post-Game’ since there are no questions or disruptions during the Shiur.

As a lucky chaburah member I feel qualified to state that R’ Sruly is undoubtedly the King of Kiruv Kerovim! For many that have been out of the yeshiva fold for some time and miss the flavors of an energizing and deep-diving shiur, this is where they get their daily fix. Strongly recommend!
Words cannot describe what Sruly has done for my daf yomi. This is my third time around and aside for the shiur I’ve been attending for the past 16 years, I make it my business to listen to Daf By Sruly. I have a totally different view of the mishna and gemora because of the #Hashtags and the #Reidbytes. To hear a #RestOfTheStory is worth is priceless.
