A driver was miraculously uninjured in an accident involving a tractor trailer in Lakewood this afternoon.
The 2-vehicle collision occurred on Towbin Avenue approximately 1:00 PM, and left the car ripped open.
The driver of the car was transported by Hatzolah to Jersey Shore University Medical Center as a precaution.
The road is shut for the investigation.

Would be very curious to know if the driver can figure out in what Zchus he or she was saved. Was it thanking Hashem, doing an act of Tzedakah or else?

I honestly can’t believe that the driver got out alive, and not even injured!!!

Im not saying this isn’t miraculous but there are plenty of people who survive crashes like this that should not have. Mainly drunk people or people under the influence of an illegal drug. Many of them sustain only minimal injuries or walk away with a few scratches while other people in the same car or in a different car die from their injuries. Again, not saying this is the case.
We don’t know Hashem’s reasons.
This is nowhere as bad as it looks. This was not the result of a hi speed collision, but rather the liftgate at the rear of the truck got entangled with the car and it sheared off the right side of the car. Nissim, yes, but its looks a lot more dramatic than it actually was
