A patient was hospitalized after being cut from an overturned vehicle in Lakewood this afternoon.
The accident occurred around 5:00 PM just outside Woodlake Manor on New Hampshire Avenue.
Extrication units needed to cut the door to free the driver from the vehicle which remained stuck on its side, and in a fence.
Injuries are reportedly not serious.
The road is shut down in both directions in the area.
