  1. According to President Biden the second amendment is no reason to own a firearm
If the nutty Democrats have their way and defund the Police, who will defend the helpless, the street mobs, antifa, BLM?

  2. It’s as simple as it sounds, constitutionally you can carry the government has illegally taken away those rights specifically in New Jersey.
Imagine they told you, you were only allowed to practice religion in your house.
    That’s New Jersey gun laws

  3. It’s as certain that New Jersey should adopt it as it is certain that New Jersey will never adopt it.

If the concept of the Second Amendment is self-defense (which is only a partial reason), then it is ridiculous to limit that defense to your home. I don’t know the statistics, but I’d be willing to bet that at least as many crimes of violence are committed outside individual homes as in homes. Why in the world would you have a Constitutional right that can only be exercised at home. To stretch the point, imagine if First Amendment rights could only be practiced at home: Free Speech, Freedom of Religion, Freedom of Assembly, Freedom of the Press. Yes I realize that there is an added element that guns are dangerous, but the founding fathers knew that when they included it in the Bill of Rights.

An even stronger argument can be made on the basis that the Second Amendment was primarily enacted to give citizens the ability to fight back against tyrannical government, when and if that happens. You obviously can’t fight against the government from home. Then again, by the time it gets to that point, I’m guessing the citizens wouldn’t be very concerned about unconstitutional restrictions on their right to bear arms.

  4. In Texas you can buy a gun, any gun, without a background check. Anyone, including people who have already been convicted of violent crimes and people who are self-proclaimed Jew haters, can legally own and carry a gun.

Guns don’t kill people. It’s people with guns that kill people.
