The Jewish Home of Freehold yesterday held a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the donation of a new ambulance to Hatzolah of Central Jersey. The ambulance was donated in the memory of Yoni Kohn A”H, a partner of Marquis Health Services.
The event was attended by local elected officials, hospital administration, physicians, local law enforcement, Rabbi Kaszirer of Bikur Cholim, Dr Zimmerman-CMO of Hatzolah, Rabbi Yechiel Kalisch-CEO of Chevrei Hatzolah, many Hatzolah members and Rabbonim.
Rabbi Wachsman and Rabbi Shea Beren presented an award to The Jewish Home and Marquis Health Services thanking them for their generous donation and continued partnership.
Bill Arnold, CEO of RWJ spoke about the tremendous teamwork behind the scenes throughout the COVID-19 pandemic between RWJ, Dr Lebowitz, the Lakewood community leaders and The Jewish Home of Freehold. At a time when all doors were closed, The Jewish Homes doors remained open for the community and beyond.
Assemblywoman Downey and Assemblyman Houghtaling presented The Jewish Home with a proclamation.
Dr Lebowitz CMO of AcuteCare Health Systems was presented an award recognizing his admirable strength and selfless dedication to the community. The ceremony was followed by lunch.
