As first reported on our Status earlier today, Lakewood police officers this afternoon arrested a man suspected of stabbing a woman during a fight.
Police responded to the Coventry Square home shortly before 5:00 PM for the reports of a man armed with a knife and attacking a woman.
Prior to officers’ arrival, the man had allegedly cut or stabbed the woman, sources say. The extent of injuries were not immediately available.
After several commands by police, the suspect finally opened the door with his hands in the air, and was taken into custody without incident.
