Every bite by a wild animal has the potential to be life threatening. Death from Rabies is a horrible death. A fox that approaches a human and bites him or her is more than likely to test positive for rabies.

Shu’alim Hilchu Bo……………. Perhaps a reminder that we are in Galus. Perhaps a reminder that we need to step up our game and eradicate the reasons we are in Galus. Just my humble opinion.

Anyone bitten by a fox-wild, requieres rabies shot.

are foxes considered a dangerous animal and animal control should be called when one is spotted or as long as their not showing aggression they can be left be ?

Dont approach wild animals. I doubt these fox went out of their way to bite someone.

  • @Eeeee says:

That’s exactly what rabid animals do.

  • Kathie says:

When we move into areas that are widely inhabited by wildlife, we should make it our obligated business to be informed and aware of the life we live among. A fox—like all living things— has purpose, but IS a creature that must be respected for it’s potential to conflict with humans, as we build in their habitat, challenging wild creatures to live a free life, as they were intended.
We need to be safe— but we must not do harm, just to convenience ourselves.

  • Kathie says:

Just curious to know— what development did this fox attack occur in?

  • F says:

The fox was caught and killed yesterday. It had rabies. Was on the news.
