Lakewood High School goes into brief lockdown after unauthorized entry; Suspect in custody

As first reported on our status this morning, the Lakewood High School went into brief lockdown this morning after somebody gained unauthorized entry into the building.

The building went into lockdown at approximately 8:00 AM and a short time later the suspect was locator taken into custody without incident.

“PD is investigating a suspicious person at LKWD High School, police said. “One person is in custody. There is no immediate threat to students or staff.”

Police and the Sheriff’s department are still on scene investigating.

  1. I hope the askunim are considering arming the teachers in the girls schools. As the guy could have come there. Or at least basic full time security
