1. Some years ago, Great Britain tried an experimental method to cure type 2 diabetes. The method was to remove the lining of the small intestine. Allow the patient several weeks for a new wall lining to grow and presto–no type 2 diabetes.

   Soon doctors in Holland modified the method by inserting a plastic tube thru the mouth down to the intestine walls. At that point hot water from the tube into the intestine flowed for 20-30 minutes. The tube was then removed and about a week later the diabetes disappeared.

   The methodology has been in use since 2018 in Holland and other countries and seems to be quite effective.

   To my knowledge, our country hasn’t seen fit to even try this new promising discovery.

   I might add that two scientists from the Weissman Institute in Israel developed a drug called copanse[sic] which eased the symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis. The drug took over 20 yrs to develop and another 5-6 years for “our” FDA to approve it.

   The reader understands the agonizing and difficult process of this large vicious octopus called bureaucracy.

   Latest information I’ve learn is that when you retire from the FDA, you get a nice position with Monsanto.

   Don’t take my word, use the internet to verify the above !!
