On Friday, a South Side Sandwich Shop trailer enroute to Ohio struck a pothole in Philadelphia, and became disabled.
Multiple members of Philly Chaveirim spent approximately 5 HOURS in the heat fixing the trailer – including picking up a new tire and rim – and got it back on the road at approximately 1:00 PM.
The driver arrived in Ohio around 7:30 PM Erev Shabbos.

Beautiful
As someone who was stuck in a similar situation (because my boss at the time wouldn’t pay for a spare tire)
For all trailer people
Particularly tandem axles
1) you probably won’t know you have a flat before it looks like the above photos.
2)while this flat is on the front axle, many people get flats on the rear because they use whatever hitch ball they have, Always make sure your trailer is level
3) keep a spare tire, get a jack that will lift your trailer loaded etc. The one that comes with your tow vehicle likely won’t work. Same for the lug wrench.
4)trailers usually come with bias ply tires, and light steel rims. If you do a serious amount of towing consider getting radial tires.
Safe travels
