Authorities in Lakewood are looking for a man who allegedly snatched a pocketbook from a woman’s running vehicle in broad daylight.

The woman was picking up a food box at a local school yesterday, and left her vehicle unlocked for approximately 60 seconds.

During that time, the suspect pulled up behind the victim’s vehicle, opened the door and grabbed her pocketbook. He then fled the area.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lakewood Police Department at 732-363-0200.

  1. That car is huge. At night where is he going to hide his stolen vehicle. I hope this guy drives around Lakewood tomorrow because most of Lakewood is almost like a parking lot and I hope someone sees that wide car.

  2. It appears that this suspect knew what goodies she had in her bag. Maybe he was at a bank that she was in and saw her withdraw cash..the cops have a good chance to catch this person and arrest on multiple charges.
