Authorities in Lakewood are looking for a man who allegedly snatched a pocketbook from a woman’s running vehicle in broad daylight.
The woman was picking up a food box at a local school yesterday, and left her vehicle unlocked for approximately 60 seconds.
During that time, the suspect pulled up behind the victim’s vehicle, opened the door and grabbed her pocketbook. He then fled the area.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Lakewood Police Department at 732-363-0200.
the license plates a re very clear?
i guess they were also stolen otherwise the police could easily locate the vehicle..
That car is huge. At night where is he going to hide his stolen vehicle. I hope this guy drives around Lakewood tomorrow because most of Lakewood is almost like a parking lot and I hope someone sees that wide car.
It appears that this suspect knew what goodies she had in her bag. Maybe he was at a bank that she was in and saw her withdraw cash..the cops have a good chance to catch this person and arrest on multiple charges.
How was this filmed?
front black bumper- not matching rest of car.
Front left fender is dented just behind the lights
Maybe at night this guy uses a tarp to hide his big stolen item.
@ST the school has state of the art servalance cameras and was able to capture the footage.
Why does it seem so many people think he stole a car? It clearly says stole a pocketbook FROM a car?
Am I missing something?
precisely the reason why adults should also be entitled to goodie boxes! no fair!!
