WATCH: Fox runs loose in Lakewood

Spotted in the area of Caranetta Drive.
Just several days ago, at least two people were attacked by a fox in Jackson.

There are numerous fox running around Somerset Walk and Pine River Village for the past few weeks AND THE TOWNSHIP HAS DONE NOTHING ABOUT IT. THEY HAVE BEEN CALLED NUMEROUS TIMES BUT THEY REPLY THAT “WE ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO REMOVE THEM. WE CAN JUST CHASE THEM AWAY”… REALLY???? I WONDER IF THEY WOULD SAY THAT IF A FOX SHOWED UP ON A COMMITTEE MEMBER’S LAWN…

I saw a fox running around on Carasaljo Dr last night. Seen it a few times in the past.

there are always fox near sunset, that’s where they live, no reason to remove them, they always run away from us

Believe it or not there was once a time when Lakewood was mostly lakes and woods. We tear down their homes to build ours. Please respect what little wildlife remains.
