Over 17,000 in Lakewood without power

Thousands and Lakewood are without power this afternoon once again.

The cause is unknown at this time.

Dozens of traffic lights along Route 9, Clifton Avenue as well as other arterial roads, are out.

If, as stated, the cause of the power outage is not known, how do they know that power will be restored @ 4:30pm?

something must be done about this. We need our machers and elected officials to step up and demand that the Electric Company improve the power grid! This is a crisis that seems to get worse each day.

Ours only went out at around 5 pm after everyone else’s went back on!! Feels like 3rd world country rotating who has power. PATHETIC from one thunder…
