WATCH: In a year 2000 interview, Jeff Bezos said he wanted to check out Space, and the audience laughed

In the year 2000, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos was interviewed and asked what he would want to do had he not been the active CEO of Amazon.

He answered, he would love to check out space.

The audience laughed, obviously thinking it was an absurd idea.

But on Tuesday nobody was laughing anymore, when Bezos made history.

  1. He also says around 22:00 that maybe in 20 years from now it will be possible to go to space…
    The real interesting part is around minute 19:00 where he says that all start up companies need an amazing amount of “luck” and hard work, and that he’s had many miracles to get him where he was. At least he admits it’s Mazel.
