Republican gubernatorial nominee Jack Ciattarelli announced today that former state Senator Diane Allen will be his pick for Lt. Governor.
Allen, a former TV anchor who grew up in Moorestown, served in the State Senate from 1998 to 2018, representing the 7th Legislative District, where she was widely respected, including by Democrats, and was known for her thoughtful and deliberate decision-making.
Allen was considered by former Governor Chris Christie to be his running mate in 2009, before choosing Kim Guadagno.
