Numerous vehicles in Lakewood area were burglarized overnight.

A laptop, cash and credit cards were stolen from unlocked vehicles.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lakewood Police Department.

  1. How many times do residents have to be told, just lock your vehicles when you get out. That would drastically cut down on burglaries and auto thefts.

  2. People obviously don’t value their possessions or they would lock their doors. It takes just a second to click the lock. I still don’t get why people are so lax. It’s not just our community. I was listening to radio 101.5 today and they were talking about cars being stolen all over because people aren’t locking them and leaving their keys inside. It is simply crazy!
