SAFETY ALERT: Razor Scooters Recalled Due to Battery Fire Risk

Razor USA has issued a voluntary recall of GLW battery packs installed in Hovertrax 2.0 hoverboards built between September 2016 and August 2017.

Product(s): GLW battery packs installed in certain Hovertrax 2.0

Manufacture Date(s): September 2016 – August 2017

You can find the name of the battery pack manufacturer, GLW, written in large letters “GLW” on the packs themselves. The battery packs have serial numbers beginning with GLW, which is printed on a white sticker on the top of the battery pack, below the bar code.

Please stop using your Hovertrax 2.0 immediately and use the form here to contact Razor for instructions on how to obtain a prepaid shipping carton to send the GLW battery pack back to Razor and to receive a free replacement battery pack. Razor may share your name and contact information with the CPSC so they can track the progress of this safety recall unless you notify us in writing within 10 days that you do not consent to our sharing this information with them.
