  1. Just for the record, while I think police should pursue egging investigations, egging at this time of year, around Halloween, is not new to Lakewood. It’s almost a tradition. As a long time resident of Lakewood, who was among the earliest people to move south of the lake, I can attest to my home being egged at this time of year over 30 years ago. But I did call the police, even then.

  2. When i was growing up in the late 80’s and early 90’s all of this was part of mischief nights in October cause of Halloween. But nowadays Social Media has made everything bigger than what it is and we called everything antisemitism when this is probably happening in other parts of our town when kids are just being kids. I’m not saying that what they are doing is right but it’s probably going on all over and at 1 point we were kids too.
