  1. Great news. Its about time. All large elementary schools have a reasonability to the klal to open HS. if you are feeding 100-150 girls into the system every year you have an achryis Yes its hard and its a money loser but so what. Its your achryuis. I implore all decent size schools schools like Bnos hadassah, Tiferes, Bnos devora etc. to live up to that standard.

  2. This is wonderful news. We all know the problem our town had this year with finding room for our precious girls. The opening of a new high school will make it much easier for this coming school year. In curious how many classes they’re planning to open.
    Hatzlocha Rabbah !!

  3. This is amaaaaaazing! These are major developments not only for their families/students, but for everyone. This will set the standard for all the schools. So pleased this finally happened. … Now if there was just a way to simplify the lives of our tahra bnos Yaakov after they finished high school too…

    • It is the opposite – their own graduates are not guaranteed to be accepted into the high school. But a family with older girls who are going to other schools should not apply for their younger daughter. That means girls who are graduating now with older sisters will not be allowed in.

Go to three dote on right top of screen and select Desktop site.
Then you can expand or minimize size of font by using two fingers.

  5. 30 acres is not a secret. It’s located at 245 E Veterans Highway Jackson NJ . Bought recently by Bais Yaakov of Jackson . It’s public information and everybody knows it .

  6. Why should a girl be punished just because she has an older sister in another school? Many times the second girl is different than her older sister and the other school that her sister attended years ago, may not be appropriate for her and that school may not even accept the younger sister .many boys go to different mesivtas than their older brothers as each boy gets accepted only to the mesivta that is appropriate for him ,regardless of where his older brother attended .

    • It’s not a a punishment!!!!
There are 250+ girls in 8th grade Bais Faiga and they can’t accept all so this is how they are limiting it.

You are so right. Bais Faiga goes fund raising as if they are a community school. They have the achrayus to take at least all their elementary school graduates . I know somebody whose daughter went to a different high school 10 years ago . Now he has an 8th grade daughter in Bais Faiga who is a very nice girl but more open minded and more trendy than her older sister who was very temimisdug and sheltered and went to a very sheltered type of school . This younger one fit in very nicely in Bais Faiga elemrntary as there are a lot of that type in her class. Bais Faiga definitely has a responsibility to accept her after having her for 9 years as she won’t be a good fit for the school that her older sister attended .

  8. Wow!!! This is what Lakewood desperately needed all these years. Much thanks to all those who enabled this. Hopefully all the other schools will follow their example.
