Bais Yaakov Girl’s Wild Story: “It Haunts Me To This Very Day”

[COMMUNICATED] “When I was in high school both of my parents were killed in a car crash. Losing both of my parents so suddenly in one night was very traumatic for me. The image of seeing their crushed car, and all the blood…It haunts me to this very day. I miss them so much and I don’t think the pain of losing them will ever go away. Today I wish more than ever that my parents were alive because I am getting married in just three weeks…- Shevy F.*

When the famed Rav Reuven Elbaz heard Shevy’s tragic story in person, his heart went out for this girl who lost both of her parents in one night. Who can’t help but scream every time she sees blood because it reminds her of the event that so horrifically took her parents away from her forever. Who is trying to rebuild what she once lost, and bravely smiles at the world despite not knowing how she will manage to start her new life with literally nobody in the world to help her buy the basic things that she needs, or to simply hold her hand as she walks down the aisle.

Rav Elbaz has therefore made a public request for readers to watch and share the following video not only for Shevy’s sake but for the sake of seven other orphaned Kallahs with similar heartbreaking stories who are trying to get married this month and are struggling to do so alone:

Rav Elbaz urges Klal Yisroel to open up their hearts by donating here and has given a beautifully heartfelt bracha to those who choose to do so:

“Whoever takes it upon themselves to give with a good and generous heart to marry off an orphan, it is a tremendous incomparable zechus. They are lucky! And they will be blessed from on High…I bless you with all my heart, may Hashem be with you wherever you go. You should be wise and successful. You should live long and healthy years to serve Him. Hashem should give endless abundance to you and your whole family.”

This Chanukah, light up an orphan’s life by helping them get married and finally having the family that they’ve yearned to have for so many years.

  1. I think that it is a great idea for Eretz Yisroel and America to start getting serious about taking the Defensive Driving Course.
I actually took it a few times.
You really learn a lot in the course.
