VIDEO & PHOTOS: Lakewood Police Department hosts Chanukah Menorah Lighting Ceremony

Lakewood Police Chief Greg Meyer and his administration held a Chanukah Menorah lighting ceremony today.

Police Chaplain Rabbi Moshe Dovid Ehrman lit the Menorah, and then thanked the administration for their dedication to the public.

The annual event was attended by elected officials, emergency services department heads, and liaisons.

“I look forward to this annual event where we can reflect on the Hanukkah miracle and show our appreciation to the dedicated public servants,” said Chief Greg Meyer.

Following the ceremony, the guests sat down for lunch, sponsored by Gourmet Glatt. The Menorah was lent to the department by Judaica Plaza.

The event was arranged by Lakewood Police Community Liaison Ben Inzelbuch.
