As TLS has been reporting all week, dozens of Lakewood Mosdos were able to continue classes uninterrupted when over 50 substitutes stepped up to the plate.
Dozens of Rebbeim and teachers were out due to the flu or Covid, but when we announced it earlier this week, the offers came pouring in.
In fact, there were multiple Baalei Batim who took off from work to teach a class, some even refusing to take pay.
As a result, not a single Lakewood Mosad closed due to the shortage.
There are still Rebbeim and teachers out, so if you can sub a class for either Limudei Kodesh or general studies, please text 929-277-8133 with the following information:
1) Subjects you’re available for – either Limudei Kodesh or General Studies.
2) If you’re available for Yeshiva or girls school.
3) Which grades you’re available for.
The information will be forwarded to the Yeshivas/Schools in need of that grade.
