Update from Parents of Lakewood Girl who Collapsed at School

Below is an update from the parents of Chaya Malka bas Basheva, the 13-year-old who collapsed at school last week and went into cardiac arrest.

Good morning. Again, watching the tehillim being said again and again on this group is a tremendous chizuk to all of us, and all the tehillim and tefilos are clearly working!

Chaya Malka is still in a state of forced unconsciousness, but the Dr.’s have eased up some of the paralyzing medications to allow for some crucial testing that will map out the plan for the next few days. Over the next 24-36 hours we should have an idea as to Chaya Malka’s mental state, which is our biggest concern right now.

We ask that everyone please continue to storm the heavens with tefilos, tehillim, and tzedaka, and we are confident our daughter will pull through. Chaya Malka has made some small movements to indicate we are headed in a positive direction, but we are far from there as of yet. We have a long way to go.

Please continue to Daven for our sweet daughter Chaya Malka Bas Basheva, that she have a compete recovery, and return to all of our lives.

With Hakaras Hatov to the Rebono Shel Olam, and to everyone that is with us at this trying time.
