As we all know, the pre-Pesach clothing shopping can be overwhelming. Once the clothes are chosen and bought, next comes the alterations. Many seamstresses are no longer taking work before Pesach since they are full already.

always said a good seamstress is a no fail business in Lakewood. every cleaners has mounds and mounds of pants, skirts, etc…. all waiting to be done. the over head is some sewing machines, threads, some materials and seamstresses. every pair of pants is upwards of $15 and skirts and dresses are at least 45$ a peice.
one thing i always wanted to do.
make a separate mens and womans seamstress store with two separate entrances. i always found it to be so uncomfortable when a woman is standing on a pedestal in front of ten guys at a time describing how she wants her skirt and shirt to be fitted. its inappropriate and intrusive.
