UPDATE: Following TLS Report, Uber Contacts Lakewood Resident Shmuel ‘Shmeeeeely’ Krischer about his $1,000 Electric Scooter [MUST-WATCH VIDEO]

Earlier this week, TLS reported about a Lakewood resident’s incident involving Uber and his missing $1,000 electric scooter.

The resident, Shmuel (Smeeeeely Krischer), stated he tried multiple times getting through to Uber about the incident, but to no avail.

But the story on TheLakewoodScoop.com appears to have helped, as last night, Shmuel received a call from Tesla’s Media Relations, asking him if they can give his number to Uber, as they were trying to get through to him.

A couple of hours later, the scooter was at his home, delivered by the same Uber driver who drove off with it last week.

  1. I found it a little long-winded. You could have told the whole story in 30 seconds and another additional 10 secs featuring the return of the scooter… no need for such a stretched out saga…
