The Ocean County Board of Social Services is the largest provider of services to the homeless and at-risk population of Ocean County. In 2022, the Ocean County
Board of Commissioners allocated $19.3 million to the Board of Social Services to help those in need.

1) Lakewood township approves a development
2)so now we need more ‘road room’
3)but it’s a ‘county (or state) road’
4)so Lakewood township requests road improvements from the county
5)the county tells the township “it was your choice to make the development, why should we have to make road improvements for ‘your’ problem?!”
6) steps 1 to 5 are repeated for the last 10 years
7)result is Lakewood traffic mess
Possible solution: the county should release authority of their roads to Lakewood township

vote them all out, the roads in this town are terrible. In other states and countries these roads would not be allowed, these are the roads of a third world country. I will send them a bill when my car breaks from all the constant jostling from driving on these terrible roads.
Best escape route is serious Teshuva and Achdus together with the rest of klal yisroel ASAP and get direct route to Eretz Yisroel and the Shofar and coming of Mashiach.
Hope it happens ASAP and we stop living in denial thinking we can fool Hashem the king of kings master of the world and knows that we get his wake up calls for serious Teshuva and Achdus together ASAP. Rather it’s the coronavirus pandemic Mageifa or 9/11 or any other tragic wake up call in between.

Recently James St. was related across the railroad crossing. There is a terrible depression on the west side of the street at the railroad crossing. Is this going to be repaired or not and if not, why????
I know. I hate it. It’s not necessary, IMO. I will bring it up again. A long grade has to be made to even it out. I will speak with the engineers.
This is the story. We are waiting for the railroad to complete their project, with cooperation from JCP&L. The same is true of the light at James & Williams. You will notice that there is a massive construction project taking place at the intersection that is adding to delays. The County has had problems coordinating all the necessary parties because of cascading events beginning with the pandemic which has set back the schedule for completion. The County engineer is working diligently with all participants to get back on track.

The other problem with traffic here is drivers not being courteous, the light will turn red and 5 or 6 more cars will go through it, this causes back up, the lights are timed to keep traffic moving but it only works if you follow that rule. Please teach and enforce this at every school and church so people can learn to drive properly.
