Hi Mayor,

I wanted to know, years ago, on Oak Street, they said there would be a light up with by Oak and the 9. The corner is always congested and we have a crossing guy that thinks it’s his job that empty oak and back up the 9 even more backed up. When do you plan on putting up a light there?

Response from Mayor Coles:

Good morning,

If it was up to us, the light would have been ion place years ago., The state has final say over all improvements to state highways.

The funds for this light, and another at Broadway, have already been set aside.

We are told the state will begin the improvements which include these 2 lights later this year.
