PHOTOS: NJ EMS Task Force Holds Training at Atlantic City International Airport

Members of the New Jersey EMS Task Force took part in a multi-agency full-scale emergency exercise at the Atlantic City International Airport on Saturday.

The exercise was designed to test the emergency response capabilities required when a Boeing 757 strikes a construction vehicle while landing. The resulting fire requires the evacuation of passengers, fire suppression, then triage, treatment and transport.

NJ EMS TF members were part of the design team of the exercise in advance. Others provided on scene staging, administration, deployment staffing, as well as evaluating the exercise overall.
