As a Result of ‘Ask The Mayor’ Column, Lakewood DPW to Extend ‘Hill” Hours for Later Bulk Trash Drop-offs

As a result of an ‘Ask The Mayor’ question here on TLS, the Lakewood Department of Public Works will be extending the hours of the ‘Hill’, to allow for later bulk trash drop-offs.

The following was a question sent in (via [email protected]):

Hi,

Is it possible to have the DPW bulk drop off hours changed ( at least a couple days a week)? Currently hours are only until 3PM, which makes it very difficult for any working person.

Thanks!

The Mayor responded:

Good morning. I spoke with Phil Roux, our Public Works Director and he thinks this is a great idea as well.

He will adjust the schedule to keep the Hill open to 7:00 several nights during the week.

We will make an announcement once he has the schedules adjusted.

Thanks for bringing this up

Ray
